Banderas Bay, RIVIERA NAYARIT is NOT a world class tourist destination.

  • Acute shortage of DRINKING WATER.
  • BLACK WATER everywhere.
  • Insufficient collection and final disposal of GARBAGE.
  • Poor Public Administration. Latent corruption.

After recent elections, the task is set for the new municipal government, also for the new governor of NAYARIT.

In the municipality the candidate that won has an unconvincing "environmental" trajectory (1).

May Jaime Cuevas "find Jesus on his way to the Valley to be converted from Saul to Paul."(2)

Acute shortage of DRINKING WATER
The lack of potable water supply is the limitation that not only negatively impacts the quality of life of many of the inhabitants of the region, but also inhibits an orderly and sustainable development of tourism, that is the first source of income for many, ... a tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities:

BLACK WATER everywhere

Deficiencies in drainage, sewage and treatment of sewage in the largest towns in the municipality. Large parts of Banderas Bay are practically bathed in sewage, which presents a great danger to the health of their Inhabitants and tourists: http://rivieranayaritone.blogspot.mx/2017/05/bahia-de-banderas-el-sueno-de-la.html

TRASH

There is also insufficient collection, transfer, treatment and final disposal of solid waste (garbage). A SHAME: The alleged "jewel of the crown" of tourism in NAYARIT does not have a professional landfill (3):

NOTAS:

“Pablo encuentra a Dios”, Hechos 9:1-19:https://bibleview.org/es/biblia/hechos1/pablo/

According to writings in the New Testament, prior to his conversion, Paul was dedicated to persecuting the early disciples of Jesus in the area of Jerusalem.[ In the narrative of the Acts of the Apostles (often referred to simply as Acts), Paul was traveling on the road from Jerusalem to Damascus on a mission to "arrest them and bring them back to Jerusalem" when the resurrected Jesus appeared to him in a great light. He was struck blind but, after three days, his sight was restored by Ananias of Damascus, and Paul began to preach that Jesus of Nazareth is the Jewish Messiah and the Son of God.

(3)There are two ways to bury trash:

DUMP: an open hole in the ground where trash is buried and that has various animals (rats, mice, birds) swarming around. (This is most people's idea of a landfill!)

LANDFILLcarefully designed structure built into or on top of the ground in which trash is isolated from the surrounding environment (groundwater, air, rain). This isolation is accomplished with a bottom liner and daily covering of soil. A sanitary landfill uses a clay liner to isolate the trash from the environment.
municipal solid waste (MSW) landfill uses a synthetic (plastic) liner to isolate the trash from the environment. The purpose of a landfill is to bury the trash in such a way that it will be isolated from groundwater, will be kept dry and will not be in contact with air. Under these conditions, trash will not decompose much.
